Alfonzo Dennard, projected as a 2nd round draft pick, was drafted by the Patriots in the 7th round.

Kellen Moore so far has not been drafted.

Off field issues torpedoed him.  No one to blame but himself.  Good, not great, certainly didn't perform at a 2nd round level last year, but if he's going to have success, NE is probably as good a place for him to go.

I was surprised to see the Steelers draft the kid from OSU with the drug positive at the combine.   He was pretty humble based on the story in today's Pittsburgh paper.   Lord knows, the Steelers need OL ...  even potheads.

The G from Stanford was a great pick up for pittsburgh. Also, I think they get value out of the NT they scooped up out of Washington. I'm wondering how Sean Spence will translate as he is a bit undersized.

I was thinking Spence was kind of small too but Harrison ain't real big either.   The Pittsburgh paper said they expect him to backup Timmons and help on special teams.    The Post Gazette also mentioned that our new guard (Stanford) manhandled the NT from Washington.

Decastro is a beast (with that name it's no mystery why the dolphins wouldn't pick him). Spence is a hell of a player. Maybe he turns into a London Fletcher type beast.

Decastro allowed one sack in his time at Stanford.   I'm hoping the guy from Ohio State (Adams?) works out.   He's like 6'7"  ...   350.    Glad to see the Steelers go after OL'men.    It's certainly a weakness.

Dallas signed 15 undrafted FA's.

Kellen Moore signs with Detroit.

Pittsburgh signed 9 players including a KR and a P.

Baltimore signs 11.

I could see Corp working his way into the backup QB spot over Thigpen within a year.

I figured you would like that QB. I also thought you'd like the LB from Texas A & M. What's going on with the Bills defensive backfield? They drafted two corners and signed three undrafted safeties and a CB.

We suck at CB. At Safety, Byrd is good, and Wilson is solid... but CB play was terrible last year. They spent a high pick on Williams a CB from Texas last year but he was hurt a lot... so I'm hoping they're just going with quantity over quality now and will find some guys that can stick and play.

Nice. A kid I used to play with for youth football who played at Stanford last year might be signing a contract with the 49ers

Linty how does it feel knowing that Stephon Gilmore looked absolutely pissed as hell when he was selected by you guys. When everyone is smiling and tearing up...Gilmore just a look of "Mannnnnn why the Bills".

I might be reading too much into it but thats what I got from it.

Not the first time, not the last a guy didn't want to go to the Bills.

Not enough NFL quality nightclubs and it's cold. Unless you're a winner like GB, you won't have a lot of guys happy to be there.

From TMZ:

Quote
NFL legend Junior Seau was found dead in his home in Oceanside, CA ... and cops are investigating a shooting ... multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Cops are currently at Seau's home just outside San Diego. Seau was 43-years-old ... and leaves behind 3 kids and an ex-wife.

Seau was a beast in the NFL -- skyrocketing to fame thanks to his explosive play with the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. The USC standout was selected in the first round of the NFL draft in 1990 and played in the league for 20 years.

Seau was involved in a car accident back in 2010 when he drove his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad, CA hours after he was arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend. Seau later said he was not trying to kill himself ... insisting he had fallen asleep at the wheel.
