take him out while the game is still semi within reach.

if he is in for 5 innings he will give up 10+ runs.

Catcher Jesus Flores, who has been out since May 9 with a stress fracture in his right shoulder, on Wednesday began a throwing routine on the field at Nationals Park. Sometime within the next week, Flores will be sent down to Viera, Fla., to begin a more intensive rehab program.

Austin Kearns (bruised right thumb) is still several weeks away from beginning a rehab assignment.

This is why we have to tender Olsen.  We need as many pitching options as possible.

What?

That used to be Bergmann being rescued on the beach by kimnat and tomterp while Chief (the kid in the cast) looked on. Now it's Balester (Chief still refuses to help but looks on somewhat disinterested).

We need every option.  We can't afford to turn anybody away.

Who knows how he'll come back.

You guys remember a start Hernandez had where he gave up like 5 runs in the first inning and then when the team scored a few to get us back in the game he came back out and finished taking a crap on the mound?

If we're gonna play softball in DC, can we at least sign Jennie Finch?

This was practically every fifth day...

...on the days when it wasn't Ortiz or Armas doing the same thing.

Saul Rivera :spaz:

Unfortunately, Saul is a better option than Colin Chokester.

I DVred the start, now I wish I didn't. I started fast forwarding quickly.
