To the ignore list you go.  Life is too short to waste any time dealing with clueless maroons like you.  Sportsfan contributes more to this board than you ever will.

And the regular ignore threats are my favorite. You slay me.

Mine too - come on, "balance of the humours?"  That one killed back in med school.....much like the Nats docs.  ;)

OK, now that was good. It's good to know that someone on here can get into a bit of give and take and not go into a huff. No need to mention names but look at the post above.:~)

At least you came to the right conclusion, even if your preface was off-target. Dr. LY is cool because he doesn't take this crap that seriously.

Of course. A visit to Birmingham gets everybody's butt tight. But on the Sunny side, maybe he and Drew can carpool back together. :mg:

Tough to get on boards, for sure. I probably miss my share. That's why I appreciate all the assistance you can provide with icons, small words, short sentences, etc.

That was sarcastic, btw.

Lorb just reported that they decided to send him to see Dr. Andrews after overruling the Nats' doctors recommendation to "take him out behind the barn and put him down."

Rendon went six and signed a huge deal- do you really think that we would have either drafted him that high or given him that deal if health was a concern? If health wasn't a concern why did the almost universally acclaimed best bat in the draft (and number 1 over all by many people) slip to 6?
I never said his health wasn't a concern. Once again I pose to you the example of the college player vs. the high school player. Why do teams sometimes pick the less polished player? It's risk vs. reward.

In Rendon's case, he was arguably the most talented player in the draft (high reward). But! he had a history of injuries (high risk). Teams bite on that all the time, not just the Nationals. You can't say the Nationals were wrong because the five teams in front of them passed on Rendon. Would the team after the Nationals be idiots if the Nats had passed on him and they picked him? If so, where does it become acceptable to take that risk?

Dodged a bullet in Storen missing only a couple of months.  Hopefully they get some good news on Morse but I can't really say I'm optimistic.
