What's wrong with Ryan Zimmerman?

Of course not, two and a half months is more than enough time to judge a ten year contract  If Zimmerman comes back healthy and puts together a bunch of 5+ WAR seasons it doesn't matter. This contract is an absolute failure because for two and a half months he struggled.

For one, he's always injured and it's hard to return to form when you're on the DL every two months.  Plus, I feel injuries have taken the toll on the guy.  I mean, he's not Cal Ripken Jr. out there.  The dude has been made of glass the last three years.

Johan Santana? That no-hitter shouldn't have counted.
Jake Peavy? He's just lucky I suppose.
Josh Hamilton? Probably won't even break Bonds' record.

These are just players off the top of my head from this season alone. They all still suck coming back from injuries. I'm sure you can find more evidence by looking more thoroughly at this and other seasons.

Our three hole hitter is performing worse than a AAAA guy.  Drop him in the order.
