wow this is freaking retarded. 79 pitches?!! He was dominating their best hitters. Why risk having the bullpen have to throw 3 scoreless innings?

It's weird that Davey says the bullpen is taxed and then takes the starter out after 80 pitches.

I went to a Hooters for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The pretty young waitress came over and sat on the bench next to me to take my order. She was very good looking. It was very wierd for an old newbie like me.

I don't understand this move at all.  Detwiler was in complete control.

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed about this.  He's got them shut down, and there's also an off day for an extra day of rest before his next start.

I thought the exact same thing.  This better not backfire...

FP is explaining up a storm about Davey keeping his bench guys in the mix.

He should have left Ross in. Although Stammen is pretty good, too.

Davey's treating pitch counts like this is nvtbl fall ball.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the reason Davey left Gorzy in last night was so we don't burn out our bullpen for this series? What's the reasoning here??

Let Stammen pitch 2 innings then give the closer to Clippard.

Maybe Davey more or less put Bernie in for defense?

Pretty soon there needs to be an all out assault of Ladddieson over Desmond.

Building up to the 100 pitch count?! It's his third freaking start, and he was only at 80

He didn't stay in the game did he? Anyway, oh well, Stammen has been beastly this year. I believe our bullpen can do this.
