No clue why Langerhans is in.  Anyone know when the last time he got a hit was?

I miss Herzog badly.  Larry Michael just doesn't cut it.

Michael ran the post-game Redskins radio call-in show before he got the job.  He insulted, shouted down and hung up on any callers who criticized the overpaid, underperforming, losing Redskins.  Dan Snyder must have loved it and promoted him.

And they STILL do not have a pass rush....

seems like everyone does. I don't mind it at all. And I like that SOMETHING stuck for us. Develops more unity..nothing wrong w/ that.

Speaking of play by play guys....I still can't get used to Johnny Holliday doing Nats Xtra.  To me that guy is the voice of Maryland basketball and football.  His call after the NCAA championship in 2002 was, "And the kids have done it!"

Yep, the Washington Diplomats.  Played for the North American Soccer League in the 80s.

I like Church but he just sucks.  Hopefully this is his last season in a Nats' uniform.  We should have traded him to the Cubs for just about anything

ayep they're a soccer team, but the one in my avi refernce a hip-hop group consisting of Cam Ron, Juelz Santana, and JIm Jones. Theres more in the group but those are the front runners.

Kat Williams the comedian is also in the group

Same here.  When I first saw he was doing Nats Xtra, I thought, "Huh?  This is the voice of Terps football and basketball!"

True, but he's great on the Xtra shows. When he's gone and Baylor or someone else is on, it's lousy.

He had a great OBP after he arrived here, but at this point I have to agree with what Sportsfan posted the other night: Langerhans DOES appear to be THE worst hitting batter in all of MLB, considering the number of at-bats he's had to anyone else.

Bowden is hung up on Willy Mo and his .218 BA because he MIGHT be able to hit homers.  I'm not nuts about getting yet ANOTHER player who CANNOT HIT!

Brandon Webb extended his scoreless inning streak to 42 innings with a 4-0 win over the Braves.

He's on fire.

And Nats#1fan beat me to it!
