Assuming Riggleman is responsible for base running decisions, he's manufactured two or three runs over the last two games.

Caps appear to have scored, but the refs are talking it over. :(

Riggleman must go !!!

"Some of those pitchers were a little questionable, I think" - Jim Riggleman

Not yet, it isn't.  The folks in Toronto have to make that call...

They lost last night, and with their ace they won by one run tonight.

They're thinking that they own the Nationals and their Park. They will try to collect rent on the way out tomorrow but Lerner will not be in his office.

for me, that 9th inning showed some guts. With the exception of Stairs and Pudge to a lesser degree.

Lol, come on. You know you can't just watch the ball when your team is on its last strike, even if it was borderline. The strike zone was huge anyway.

Plus, it's not based off of one AB. Ramos is batting like .460, he needs to play more.

A walk is better than a strikeout, especially when it would push the winning run to scoring position.

I totally agree with you on Ramos, but Pudge got screwed nonetheless.

I really think we can.  Lee has not been that great so far.

you can not be serious about that.  You'd rather have him swing at a pitch that he'll ground into a DP than lay off a pitch where he knows that will happen than take a 3rd strike?  That's insane.  At least give the guy a chance to do something if you know you can't with what they're throwing up there.  And that last pitch wasn't down the middle, it was up and away, a pitch he's not going to be able to drive.

Typical over-reaction by SF.

That's why I said the Phillies should be concerned about this game.

Stairs' at bat was inexplicable.

At least we took the shutout away from Halladay.  That ninth inning was really exciting to watch, and I tend to agree that Stairs' AB was a rally-killer. Oh well...

All this without Zimm and, for the most part, Morse. Not bad. Ankiel and LaRoche are doing okay.
