Nats shutting down Desmond for the rest of the year just to keep Strasburg company.

;)

In case you want to sing along at home, here are the lyrics to the portion of Take on Me that Morse uses as his walk up music. I could never figure out what the hell the falsetto part is. It's highlighted in bold.

So needless to say
I'm odds and ends
But that's me stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is OK.
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry

Take on me, take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two

Mitlen, think about KA and that'll give you the courage to attempt the high notes. ;)

Kristina is a basso kind of girl.    Plus, I'm more of an Eddie Kendricks falsetto.

It's time for Jackson to join the ten win club, and hopefully Red Boss Ross (who's looking all grown up in interviews to me) makes it as well.

I noticed the maturity coming from Det recently.   He looks "comfortable in his skin".    This is a big plus with the Stras being shut down and a probable 4 man playoff rotation.

Good start for Edwin, with the swings and misses.

Good, get that lazy Reyes out of the game.

He lost my respect when Harper took third, and his other general laziness.  Good thing the Nats didn't even attempt to sign him.

Good take by Bryce. Barely out of the zone. Had some nasty cut back action

Nice walk, Harper.

Yep, it wasn't a very hittable pitch, even if it nicked the zone.
