Too bad Jonathan Spector is no longer in the EPL (now with Birmingham City in the CL).

Deuce needs to quit sucking his thumb and play the damn game.  Fulham could have won today.

They jumped early but United swamped 'em then gave one back.    Does your comment refer to the young guy sucking his thumb after his goal?   What's  the story with that?

Missed that...no, I was referring to Dempsey's sudden lackadaisical attitude about playing for the club that launched him in the EPL.

The pregame discussed that "briefly".    They mentioned that Liverpool is interested in him.   I'm kind of let down that he's not playing.    Fulham was one of the teams that I pulled for because of the American connection.

I can't blame him for wanting to take his game to the next level with one of the "big" clubs, but in the meantime I think it would be far more becoming to hustle and scrap for his current team like he always has until now.

That was one hell of a gash on Rooney's leg.

Soccer is what Ian Desmond plays with grounders more often than Danny Espinosa.

desmond > espinosa

I think that Arsene missed the memo that the season has started...

The announcers kept mentioning Stoke's s style and Arsenal's "issues" when playing them.    Can you enlighten me on the history between these two clubs?

I can't really put a finger on it, but that place has been a house of horrors.

Stoke are known for having very physical teams and Arsenal are known for being small and athletic. Stoke's long ball style frustrates a lot of the top teams.

I think Stoke will be relegated this season. I just don't see them scoring many goals.

They should get some headers from Crouch, otherwise yes, they are the NJ Devils of the Premier League.

Mancini is going with the 3-5-2 formation today. I'm expecting one or two assists from Kolarov.

Did they just drop the "E" from the EPL this season?  I guess that's Swansea's doing.

Not good enough from City, but it was an entertaining game.

I was surprised to see Skrtel passing the ball back to Reyna after that howler.

Champions League draw is today. Everyone is expecting the group of death to be Real Madrid, Manchester City, Juventus, and Borussia Dortmund this year. That would piss me off.

I'll say - three of them into Group D! Not bad.

I thought I'd be pissed, but there should be plenty of great games in that group. Four of the best stadiums in Europe.

I really like Group C and Group F.
