GREAT at-bat by Wilson Ramos.
98 pitches for Jonathan Sanchez.

Morse REALLY needs to learn a lesson from his first at-bat. Or just hit another line drive, but at a gap.

Michael Morse is Haynes-worthless.

Morse is simply not an every day player....unless it is spring training.  We have so many holes in our order.  Any other team would have 6 runs by now and Sanchez would already be showered and back at the hotel.

it was his to lose. His stats every year has shown that he is a pretty good hitter but the thing about those stats is that he was never given a long stint like we have. This sucks.

We should have traded Morse to the Phillies before he showed what he really is.

Sorry, but even in a scoring position I would let Lannan bat this inning.

Lannan would have just as much of chance to drive in a run as Stairs.  :|

I don't think I can take another 6 weeks of Hairston and Cora.

But Rizzo and Riggleman can!

Oh, Lannan's likely to give up the lead, this inning.  So sooner than that.

DON'T TAKE LANNAN OUT RIGGLEMAN!

When your offense scores 1 run, it doesn't matter what your pitchers do.  One run particularly with all the chances from the first two innings.

I don't understand why our pitchers don't cover first base like 13 year old kids are taught to: run directly to the line and then cut up towards the bag, so that you don't have to slow down like Lannan just did. Does this method not translate to the highest speed of play? I know it works in college...
