I saw the stage production at the Biltmore in NYC on January 1, 1970.    I knew a guy who through another guy knew Jerome Ragni and a group of us attended.    In February, I was drafted for the third time (they finally caught up with me :) ).    They had an open call for the crowd at West Potomac Park in the movie version.   It crossed my mind but I didn't go.

Had to either get you that time or let you go...there was no 4.   ;)

Found the Playbill from the Shubert Theater in Chicago.  Joe Mantegna played Berger...

I remember when they filmed parts of "Hair" (the movie) in ANC, West Potomac Park, etc.   4 minute mark of:

In 1978. I was in the crowd but didn't make the movie. A couple of my college friends are in it though.

They had a big concert to attract the crowd. Bonnie Raitt was one of the performers.

Somebody had a camera there.

I specifically booked a redeye flight from Seattle in order to see the Leonids (got a window seat on the best side and everything), but red wine with dinner and it was lights out.  I woke up on the approach to Dulles

I spent a few minutes looking at about 12:15 and didn't see anything. Felt some mosquitos around and gave up. Maybe too early?  Maybe others has success?

None here.     I picked a hill top near the house  ....   not too much light clutter.

None here, either.  Sky was kind of bright and overcast, like a haze.  Couldn't really make it out.

We had a clear sky. So maybe it just fizzled out?

Heard another reference to the 9th planet in our solar system this morning.  Evidence seems to be building for the existence of planet X.

Quote
“If you want to put a number on it, I'd be somewhere like 80 percent sure that there's a Planet X out there,” Sheppard told Space.com. “I don't think it's a slam dunk; it's not 100 percent, because it's such low-number statistics. But there are a lot of strange things that seem to be going on that would be explained quite well with there being some kind of massive planet out there.”

I'm guessing it is the Vulcans.  Oh, wait, they picked a signal from us in first contact.

looks like yet another false alarm:

There's some speculation it was from a military radio of some kind.

One of ours. :)  It was on the 11 Ghz band which is used for military communications.
