Wow.  Like, wow.

Thanks guys.  Obscene money.  I wish I'd never asked!

How about this:

Hanrahan, Joel   $4,100,000

Once?

At least twice. Against Baltimore and Colorado. He's fine but certain matchups (like this one) dictate that a RHP be used.

Mattheus got 2 big outs, now this is the perfect spot for Burnett.

Morrison 1/7 with 2 Ks vs him lifetime.

We've asked Ronny what happened to the lion at least 3-4 times and he never replies. Makes me wonder if it means something more significant.

(Wild Thing) was actually written by the brother of Academy Award winning actor  Jon Voight.

Yup.  Chip Taylor.     (But most people know the Troggs version.)

Chip also wrote "Angel of the Morning" and "I Can't Let Go"  (great version by Linda Ronstadt).

Thanks for that.  How the hell are those salaries covered?  Advertising I guess.  Money has killed football in England (and obviously Scotland), but I guess baseball and American Football are different beasts.

Anyway, bollocks, the Nats are going to the World Series.

Maybe, I think part of him wants to get everybody back into a game situation ASAP, which I can understand.

I think Burnett's in my top five favorite current Nats.  Might have to do something with the fact we share a birthday.

No he isn't. His use of Mattheus and Burnett was perfect.

Only mistake was using HRod but that is more on Rizzo for keeping him on the roster.

Holliday's assuming Miami isn't coming back.  That's supposed to be a no-no in PBP 101.

Great pitch to retire that douche!

Why did Johnny say that ended his hit streak? The game is not over.

Nope, he doesn't get credit for it.  Defensive Indifference according to Gameday.

Like we all said, that was HRod's audition to see if he belongs when Storen comes back. He flunked. Now he'll probably get cut.

Worse than Bob, at least Bob talks in hypotheticals rather than declaring something a fact before its decided.
