Something just came to me.  Considering how bad Jayson Werth is against Volstad and Sanchez, is he good against any other NL East pitchers...other than Nationals pitchers?
He's been good against Hudson, Hanson, Niese, Dickey and Pelfrey.  Remains to be seen vs. the Philly pitchers though he's been pretty solid vs. Oswalt.

PC references Berkham in 3...2...1....

There have been home run swings that were shorter than Berkman's!

Livan can't get a strike call from this home plate umpire.

Or just annoying widgets on their home page that slows the thing down

This close | | to switching to the MLB Network if this bad first inning keeps up

At least the ump can't call it a ball when they swing.

Yeah that.

Hernandez has been hosed this inning. We have plenty of material for the thread about getting freaked over by the umpires.

If Im a hitter, Im not swinging until I get a strike. Two straight walks, crappy umps ... And Buck swings himself into an out. Thank god.

Thank god Buck sucks.

Get ready for a heavy dose of Gaudin and Broderick because Livo won't last long at this pace.
