Ah c'mon, you've been around enough to know that sportsfan hates Dunn.  That's nothing new.  And that PC calls "game" after practically every play

i dont have my gameday thread face on. i guess i knew that about sports fan. but that isnt at the front of my mind when i happen to find the nats with eht tying run at the plate with on page ten of the gdt

There may not be a clock there Bob, but there is an A-Hole on the mound

Oh well.  Next time the Mets see us, they might be looking at a different pitcher

I love Riggle's postgame comments. I expect this team to come out firing tomorrow.

Yep
That was not a pretty game to watch at the park tonight, I'm glad they tried to come back, but it was not a fun game to watch.

per Kilgore twitter:

Quote
The #Nats beat themselves up pretty good over how bad they played. Ian Desmond: "Anybody who watched ... knows we didn’t have any energy."

I say you bench Desmond for his performance. Totally distracted. My brother has a theory that dip affects concentration, and Kennedy, Nyjer, and Desmond are always with the dip.

Just got in from the game.

Yes, the team sucked... yes Atilano was/is terrible... but man what fun I had tonight.

The crowd was rocking during the comeback. Fan was dancing his tail off and I really thought Dunn was going to pull it off. I lost my voice in the eight inning during the rally.

Well worth the price of admission.

Fan dancing picks to follow shortly!

Maybe the first few times you do it, because it definitely gives you a buzz (can be fairly heavy the first few times, esp. a "big" dip). After awhile however you get used to it and it's more of a habit than a craving thing.

Announced attendance 23,612 - looked bigger - still, our fourth-best turn-out of the season (trailing the first two matches of the opening series - for a well-discussed reason - and the Dodger opener on 23rd April).

Should be getting a good group for the Orioles - last season the Washington leg of the Parkway Series drew 22,556 (Friday), 31,833 (Saturday) and 30,880 (Sunday).

That's what Bobby Cox "nicknamed" him. Cox has some hammonds in him.

House was absolutely rocking in RF.  AMAZING CROWD.  If Dunn would've hit a Grand Slam in that spot, there would've been a riot and we might've had to charge the field (jk of course, but emotions were high).

Second time I've been told that I'm being too loud at a Nats game.  Last night's culprit: Usher Doris in 143.

on TV you could hear a huge "lets go nats" chant as dunn was batting, though it could have been a "lets go mets" chant.
