Damn, I'd be more then surprised...if Kim finishes this inning without giving a run.

Please throw strikes, Kim! If we have to lose, I'd rather it be on a base hit than a bases loaded walk!

Back to reality folks...we can't win games...while not producing some runs.

Shoot. At least there are no trolls on this board to rub salt in our wounds.

Bowden, if you talk to any GMs in Detroit, we need relief pitchers far more than we need another bat!

guys need to get rested and healthy for the second half and maybe Bowden needs to get us some bench insurance.

Two ballbreaker games in a row.  Thank god we're getting some time off - the team needs to psychologically recuperate.  Heck, PHYSICALLY recuperate, too - look at Vinny, Jose and Wil Cordero gimping around.

Break ends, Johnson and Church come back, we roar outta the gate.  YOU GOTTA BELIEVE.

Totally squandered a great chance to extend our division.  We played poorly the past week.  Thank God the ASB is here.  I need a break.

My dream - the sort of thing that might make me spontaneously sling wood - is getting Guardado from Seattle.  A bridge too far, maybe?  But he seems so obviously to be THE missing jigsaw puzzle piece here.

I keep saying it: our bats may be frustrating right now, but once Johnson and Church are back, that lineup won't look so awful at all.

How did I know someone would come back with a comment like that once I mentioned Cordero?  Yeah, he is a pretty useless utility player.  Sure ain't Marlon Byrd, that's for sure.  But unfortunately for us I think FR has some sort of fatherly attachment to him.  Same with Carroll, but Carroll seems to justify it.  Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing him get the permanent SS from Guzman.

It was so a frustrating LOSS!!!

We're below 600. now...argh...

I hope, the all star break will help us because we aren't going into the right direction.

Well, this isn't a good way to go into the break.....BUT, let's look at it this way

NO ONE....and I mean NONE of us would have or could have dreamed that this team would wind up in 1st place at the All Star Break.  This team should be commended for their gutsy play so far.  They've managed to remain in the NL East lead in spite of injuries that would have crippled most teams.

KEEP YOUR HEADS UP AND LETS GET READY TO ROAR FOR OUR NATS DOWN THE HOME STRETCH!!!

I don't know about y'all but I've already forgotten about today's game.  I'm READY for the PENNANT CHASE!!! (feels kinda good to say....PENNANT CHASE, doesn't it??! )   :D

All due respect to Montreal and the fans Ken...but I personally think the Expos logo sucked.  Looks like a someone spelling out the world "ELB" in a 70s hippie font or something.

You aren't the only one who thought the Expos logo, as well as their name stunk... I think the Expos logo was among the ugliest logos in professional sports. The nae they chose is just as bad... Worse even
