Sweet, I left for the store when MacDougal crap the bed, come back and turn on ESPN. Nats highlight rolls up and to my extreme surprise, does not end in a loss.

How often does it happen where 1) ESPN shows a Nats recap and 2) The Nats actually win that game? Like ten times a year?

Such is the everlasting appeal of baseball...it can go from the sublime (Nats level score at 2) to the ridiculous (run themselves out of that same inning, then surrender two more runs) and back to the sublime (that 9th inning!) in barely an instant.

Radio coverage ... drove to Richmond this afternoon to deliver my son back at VCU.   Unlike the other night with poor reception.   I had 1500 to around F'burg and 950 (Richmond) kicked in not too long after that.    Must be after dusk, these low power stations cut their signal (used to be like that anyway).    Nice to be able to listen the whole way to Richmond.   And the good news is I didn't get a speeding ticket today ....
