I pretty much agree. The farm system is greatly improved IMO from the days of Mike Hinkley and Kory Casto as the "top prospects". My fear was that if the team did good this year, they would resign Riggs and we would be stuck with him for the years the team could actually be good. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the wins, but I also want the guy gone as manager ASAP.

Desmond makes a stab to field a ball in an 11-2 game and Bob makes us feel better by reminding us that the Braves could've had 15 or 16 hits yesterday instead of "only" 10

Today sucks don't get me wrong, but we got a good win yesterday after an opening day that could've gone either way.

Only problem I have is the fact gaudin/broderick are on the team over bally.

I fully understand that this is only 3 games, but you know after 5 years of the same crap, the burden of proof is on the team to show me that this isn't going to be just another year of the same. IMO anyone selling butterflies farting skittles would do well to remember that before they chastise anyone about being too negative.
