Yeah this game is definitely resembling last night's flow. Let's hope the result differs.
The offense really needs to get it done so our bullpen/Simontacchi doesn't have to be perfect.  We should have scored 5+ against Byrd and against Westbrook today..

That was a hit on the side of his head.

nice job by Flores and Guzman

Terrible throw by Flores, Guzman bailed him out big time.

I'm talking about the fabulous starting pitching over the past two days.

I know, sorry.

But Dmitri and Ronnie are the scoring difference today.

Dustin McGowan (on my fantasy team) is pitching a no-hitter thru eight.

And out nr 15 on the warning track, caught by Austin.

Come on offense, we need to see some of the real stuff!

Manager Manny Acta said if the Nationals continue to be inconsistent on the field, the team will call up left-hander John Lannan and right-hander Colin Balester, two of the team's top pitching prospects, sometime after the All-Star break and insert them in the starting rotation.

man our offense is so bad.. 2 runs through 6 against Westbrook (only 72 pitches).  if we lose it's all their fault

What about espn sportsfan?

I didn't check but they probably interrupted regular programming to cut in for the no hit bid in Toronto and it failed again. It happens with them all the time.

Bob Carpenter says there's a potential that Chad won't close tonight, instead Rauch.

I don't care how devoid of stars this team is, you've gotta earn your way.
