We're on pace to lose 114 games now.

That's 6 games ahead of the '62 Mets.

the most disturbing thing about all of this is ... if we're ever going to be a good team ... it won't be until forever from now.

sure our starting pitching is young and has potential ... and our line-up is two bats away from being solid (but you know we'll be trading johnson soon, so we'll have to look for another piece in addition ) ... but our pen is terrible and our situational hitting is an embarrassment.

this team has no faith when they play and the losing has just killed their spirits: THEY EXPECT TO LOSE.  they are afraid to make a mistake, but when they get to the dugout, manny is there to comfort them and make their bed.  they are coddled.

and they give too many guys too many chances and i just don't trust our ownership caring that much to provide the resources (MONEY), our front office to make the right moves with that budget and our manager in his decision making.

i'm usually patient with most things in life ... i had to wait 20 years for a baseball team ... but now it's like i have to wait 20 more for a winner.

Seriously, why did Willie start at second tonight? I understand Acta wants to get him ABs but he is not a second baseman.

What did Hernandez and Gonzalez do to deserve this? Anderson might not be hitting much but surely he would have fielded that ball that Harris blew that cost us 2 runs (and the game).

orlando hudson with his 23rd double tonight and provided his 42nd and 43rd rbis of the year in a 2-for-5 effort.  yeah we couldn't use him

but hernandez sucks.  we'll probably see him tomorrow and he'll go his 0-for-4 with an error.

who cares?

The errors, bad clutch hitting, and Tavarez lost this game.

Yea Zimmermann didn't do well tonight, or as well as he normally would. Gave up 4 walks in 4 innings, 3 to the lead off hitter. Thats not good at all.

Yet we still had a chance to win when he left the game.  We gave up 2 earned runs total, tonight and scored 4!

come on. hernandez should be playing everyday though (or AlGo). he is a solid defensive 2B-man at worse.

No reason for Harris to ever play 2B with all of these guys on the roster.

yep. Acta said that Tavarez's walks were worse than the errors.

yep. he still didn't seem angry or upset like you would think he would.

He's not supposed to be playing 2nd.  They said he wasn't an infielder anymore.
