I've kept the radio set to FM-106.7 and Slowes/Jageler haven't come back on as yet...club homepage simply says 'delayed start'.

Something cincy related to pass the time.  IMHO the greatest moment in television history.

With it being not just the final regular season meeting but also an afternoon fixture, they'll move heaven and earth to get this one in if there's the slightest possibility - back in 2004 I sat out a 3hr 42min rain delay at a Yankees-Angels Saturday afternoon match (in August, final head-to-head series of season).

The old Yankee Stadium (sadly that was my only visit there ever) had the best beer selection I've ever seen at a sports arena - one had to exercise maximum discipline to avoid succumbing to further and further temptation as the rain delay dragged on.

Great show  ...  during that time, I worked at a local radio station.   Characters all  ...    My favorite though was when they put coke in Carlson's shoes and his feet went numb.

the turkey bombing is still my all-time favorite television moment, but the time when Johnny Fever thought the phone police were out to get him was really good as well.  Great show.

Teams just finished meeting. Will meet again at 4 pm to discuss. I actually think if they start between 4-7 pm they'll be fine. They'll do everything they can to get it in, especially since DC isn't a long flight from Cincy it's the same time-zone, and Nats don't play until 7:05 tomorrow.

ESPN just said that they got through the first few batters of this game before rain forced a delay.   :|

Loni didn't age well, who knows what happened to Bailey, she disappeared after the show, in any case it sure would have been fun hanging out on that set back in the day.

We are not getting ANY help from the Cardinals. I hope they lay down for us too when we play them.

Watching that clip again makes me wonder how many takes were required for carlson to get out the "as G-d as my wintess.." Line without the rest of the cast losing it.

Not confirmed by Fox radio on FM-106.7 - I've had it on continuously since Slowes/Jageler signed off, and they would have gone back on if they were finally starting to prep the field for the match...also, ESPN.com MLB schedule and the Nats site both still say 'delayed'.
