What clever and creative way is this team going to come up with to lose tonight? Walk four straight batters to walk in the winning run? A misplay in the outfield? A wild throw? Have the Rays just blow us out? Or how about the ever reliable "bullpen blows it?"

Choices, choices, choices.

The Mets got us beat in that category. They lost a game when Ryan Church missed a base and they lost a game on a missed pop up.

This is the game where MASN can't show the first hour, right?

Chief, any interest in doing what we did the other day only this time for the next 6 games (until I am able to remove y not?'s boyfriend from my avatar space) and instead of limiting it to slugging we can do OPS?

Neither of us has our own avatars to bet right now

Besides, I'm at home visiting family, not really going to be following the game.

I'll be following the game, so I'd do this, if you would be so kind as to explain the rules.

This is the second to last game in the Manny Acta era. Enjoy it while it lasts. We will all remember these memories after we win 5 straight WS with Strasburg and Harper.

Why bring in a garbage player. I would much rather have brought in Ryan Langerhans.

At least with Langerhans, Manny won't be tempted to bat him at leadoff or as a #2 hitter. Manny isn't smart enough to bat Patterson at #9.

I thought you were making a joke with that.

Don't really want to waste an option on a guy who's not ready or you're not going to leave here so unless you know you're going to dump kearns or make some other move, don't bring up a guy for 5 days.  This makes perfect sense and given the situation, is perfectly reasonable.  No one sees Patterson as part of the organizations future, it's probably the best move given the circumstances.

Why not have Harris at LF and Dukes at CF. Harris is amazing at LF and Dukes is very inexperienced at LF. It makes too much sense.

hopefully it will be over with quickly. their offense is due to tee off on our pitching staff.

I expect the offense to be shut down by a terrible pitcher. They will be demoralized anyways more than likely since Willingham's brother died and Acta is about to get canned.
