the fact that i would take any outfielder in all of Major League Baseball over Kearns.

At least the Nats carry OFers.  Until Thursday's callup of Brett Carrol, Beinfest had the Fish with more catchers on their active roster than OFers.

Careful or you might read something like this in the paper;

Nats and O's make trade-Nationals move veteran OF Austin Kearns to Orioles for Felix Pie

Lannan gets out of that inning unscathed if Kearns holds Ibanez to a double, instead he misplayed the ball like a retard.

He smoked that ball up the middle. Hit it too hard.

Our luck just cannot get any worse. putrid.

Kearns is our 2nd best OF player (Purely fielding) behind Harris and he has the best arm of the bunch... Also, nice AB Anderson... jesus....

Young, old.... you don't swing at pitches 10-12 inches off the plate.

why would strassburg want to play for this team?

because he would actually have a chance to play in the majors sooner, before his arm blows out. David Price was picked in 2007 and is just now getting the bigs as a starter (and I have serious doubts that Strasburg is as good as Price). On other franchises, there would be no rush to move him up to the big leagues. With the Nats, he has a chance to get financially set for life and be the ace faster than anywhere else.
