Peacock.

Now that Purke and Cole are off the board, Peacock's upside and resume are better than any other pitcher in the organization. Meyer's upside is better but raw and has no experience yet. In terms of position players, again I think his upside and what he's accomplished beats what Norris and Hood have been able to accomplish.

I went with Meyer because he was touted as having the best two-pitch combo in the draft behind Cole.

Kind of surprised by this result... I thought it'd be a little bit closer.

I guess Prospect #6 is where we'll finally start seeing some balance in votes.

I'll admit to voting Marrero. The defense is bland but I'm really starting to buy into the Adrian Gonzalez comparisons with the bat.

Peacock has only been dominant for a half-season - though admittedly that was because of genuine repertoire changes and improvements, not a fluke. I feel like the crazy walk rate in Syracuse has to go back down to his normal level and then he'll be decent there. Still, it may be a bit too soon to compare his rise to JZ's.

You wonder whether the :az: starts for A. Meyer soon now that he's signed.  that big, that fast.

Everyone pool your votes on Derek Norris and we'll beat Brad Peacock 16-15.

Despite the low BA I'm still a huge Norris fan. He'll have another full year at AA next year, hit .270 and be ready for September 2012.

Sometimes.

He's got a cannon for an arm 40% CS.

Blocks ok. Think Mike Napoli.

Only real problem is he misses occasional pitches... That comes with time and learning the position.

He won't stay in AA next year. His OBP and SLG are fine.

Starts next year in AAA. Book it.

not quite there with you Linty on where he starts next year.  A month or two at AA before a promotion, like the Red Sox did with Lavarnway, is what I expect to happen.

I guess we'll have to see. Might have a lot to do with how he shows in ST.

Went with Norris over Peacock here, but it's close.
