Leon sucks
I thought he was supposed to be a defensive wizard in the Minors. A little strange seeing so many passed balls from him.

Dan Kolko ‏@masnKolko
As impressive as rookie catchers Sandy Leon and Jhonatan Solano have been offensively, they've been as bad behind the plate.

And that is why Flores starts.

Flores ain't no great shakes behind the plate. Don't get it twisted.

Most would say otherwise including Mike Rizzo who has frequently credited Flores for being huge defensively for this team and having the lowest catcher's ERA in baseball.

I do agree that his offense has been disastrous lately and he badly needs to figure that out.

I'm sure his catcher ERA has nothing to do with catching the best pitching staff in baseball.

Bryce with a lot of groundballs recently.  Once he gets that timing back, he'll get to the lower half of the ball and start hitting some bombs again.

The GM is the one who brought up the stat the other day, not me. It was on a MASN interview.

Rizzo isn't the most stat savvy guy. So I rest my case.
