Alcoholism is never funny.

Literally saw him at a bar I frequent when he was still with the Marlins, along with some teammates and some recently introduced friends.  Which is my basis for saying trust me.

Is that the same as Mitt Romney's 47% ?

Trout said something like 47% of the voters would view the triple crown as conclusive, too.  ;)

No, I just picked the 47% out of the air.

Mike Trout also is great about giving out interviews and has talked to the stadium attendants about making sure the media have good food spreads at Angels games. Miguel Cabrera, being the adult, doesn't focus on kissing up to the media and wants them to buy their own post game snacks.

Rizzo wins an executive of the year award.

So we have the Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year and Executive of the Year on one team? I like it :) congrats Rizzo, well deserved.

the fact that we have Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year plus the silver sluggers and gold gloves and guys getting votes for CY Young and MVP makes the Rizzo award obvious

Absolutely true  I'm excited to see what he will or won't do this offseason.

Well, if we get to keep LaRoche, I doubt we need much adjusting other than another starting pitcher and possibly one more arm or so in the bullpen. Rizzo doesn't need to go crazy to make this team another winner.

MLB TV had the top plays of the year earlier today.  Bernie's catch in Houston made the list (in the 30's), Werth's game 4 walk-off was in the top 10 (#7 I believe?), John Jay's catch against us was on the list, so was a walk-off in St. Louis against us in the regular season.  The Morse re-do of the HR against St. Louis was cited as the "oddest play of 2012."
