After two outs, our pitchers completely lose focus.  This isn't the CFL, people!  >:(
that is a bigger problem in our system than guys not going deep into games.

pitchers up and down our system completely fold and melt down with 2 outs on a regular basis.

that's a lie.

but you wouldn't know because whenever the team isn't doing anything they are absent from the forum. but they show up once or twice a month when the team actually scores runs and wins.

Don't even think about taking Lannan out now!  There's no way this team is going to score five runs.

You might as well let Lannan pitch six complete or until he throws 110 pitches, which ever comes first.

what the hell is going on? has Lannan given up?

he isn't throwing hard at all. getting beat around by a bunch of losers.

Let Jorge Sosa finish the game then cut his ass immediately afterwards.

It's called "getting shook up."

Come on.  Be reasonable:

Harris - 7
Gonzalez - 6
Dunn - 3
Zimmerman - 5
Orr - 4
Nieves - 2
Maxwell - 8
Padilla - 9
Lannan - 1

Did you really expect anything from this lineup?

Chief, I've been trying to search for some old thread on the forum, but it keeps saying the search option is disabled. Is that just because of the crappy computer I am on or something else?

I disabled the forum search to cut down on slowness.  Using google and prepending your search with "wnff" or "nationalsforum" almost always works better anyway.

no but it would have been just as bad with Willingham, Guzman, and Dukes included.

this team just isn't good in any facet. the offense isn't a strength and never was a strength.

need a complete rebuild.

I disagree.  We have plenty of pieces in place that are usable:

Morgan, Zimmerman, Dunn, Willingham, Flores.  By my count we need a SS, 2B, 1B/RF.  If Dukes can ever get his head on straight, that solves RF/1B and we just need to concentrate on 2B and SS for the starters.

We need depth more than anything else.  We have Harris as a viable backup and beyond that it's crap.

So for starting position players, we are only about 2 or 3 players away.  It's our depth and starting rotation that sucks.

I maintain again, just like I did last night, this series is worst than the Marlins series where we blew three saves.

How much worse can it be than to be so overmatched by maybe the 26th or 27th worst team in baseball!

I really don't care how good the players are. They don't win.

If our offense was so good then why are we 42 games under .500? It's not all the pitching's fault. not even close.

We need winning players.
