Why on Earth are we intentionally walking Langerhans with one out????  Even Lou Pinella wanted to call Frank a jack a$$ but he held back.  Both runs come around.  I'm now definitely on the fire Frank train.

Also, I would leave Astacio in to pitch all 8 innings.  I don't care if he has to throw 200 pitches.  He deserves to be hung out to dry rather than burning up the bullpen after what he has done in his last 2 outings .  Garbage.

The next few years aren't going to help :)

BTW, I like your quote, though with this squad you're more likely to get a performance like this the next day.

This ain't rebuilding!!!  The only thing you build with Astacio, Armas and Ortiz is something that should be condemned!

I'd much rather have any AA or AAA pitcher start for us opposed to Asstacio, Armass, and Ortiz.  Walk chipper to face Andruw???

I repeat:

Do Bowden, Kasten and the Lerners realize that you have to invest in your piching staff and not get everybody's leftovers???

From what I have heard about Bowden is that he could care less about pitching.  I hope that's not the case.  I think we got some good arms in the minors though (Balester, Chico, Mock, Martis, and a few more).  I also think that next year's rotation will blow this year's rotation away, especially now that Armas, Ortiz, and Astacio will be gone.

Our offense is downright disgusting.  ESPN and others would never let it down if Smoltz no-hits us.

Of course not.  They think we need to invest in Multi-Million Dollar prime madonnas and bringing everyone over from Cincy to DC to make the Reds II.

Pitching?  Ha!  Pitching is for babies.

You see Pedro, it's possible to get the one player out, then follow that with another out and follow that with another out, without walking anybody or giving up runs!

agreed.  schroder has done a very good job this year.  barry svrulga had a nice write-up the other day about CS making the most of this opportunity.

As I've said before, for some reason he reminds me of the Orioles Chris Ray.

Will someone give the rundown on what JimBo is saying?

I've been cursed with the Cards/Cubs game down here in NC.
