Through 5 innings. What's your point? He is dominating us and is on pace to go 7.

Maybe but I'd like him much better if he was a .300 hitter or hit for about 30 homeruns.  :|

Either of those would be decent but how nice would it be to have a player that could do both (nice guy or not)?

if only we would ever use our outs to score a run. when was the last time a leadoff hitter either moved up on a stolen base or was sacraficed over? when was the last time we scored a run on an out?

I have to hope that one day we'll have at least one player that fits that description.

That's a good point but we are going to need a couple of those to win this game. We're going to need some yard work. I'm looking for a 3 run blast from one of our 'power' hitters.

because Milledge is the only one on the team who can get on vase once every 4 at bats and then steal a base, he should leadoff. Guz, who is our best hitter should be up 3rd or 4th on this team.

Awful pitch (selection). Why throw him an inside curve ball? Why not throw change-ups away or stay with the fastball?

LOL at Young's hustle.

But we seldom take advantage of mistakes by pitchers like other MLB hitters do.

Game in hand for the Pirates.  They have it clinched with our offense.

WTF! That's freaking inexcusable. Lanna has had to work extra hard in innings because we're giving away extra outs. These motherfreakers can't hit and they can't play defense.

dmitri looked funny on that one. Now we would need 3 runs to possibly win. I think that homer was lights out for the Nats.

John Lannan had to use up a few extra pitches.
