COOL!  I think Minty (or is it Linty?) and PANats are new Dads.  There may be more I'm not mentioning. Some kids like it.  Some kids don't.

Its cool to watch little ones reactions to their first experience with snow.  They are not sure what to make of it.

Is it snowing? I'll lose it if it is snowing. The dealer just washed my car!

Ugh it's a sheet of ice.

Yeah, freezing rain, which is worse for me to drive in.

There was some of this crap like a week ago and my car started spinning out.  I had to turn right back around and go home going like 5 mph.

it's snowing here in western PWC, supposed to get snow then sleet then rain.  I'm guessing the kids go in 2 hours late tomorrow.

Hmm.  Leave work and hit the store for some things and it's flurrying.  Come out 15 minutes later and it's coming down like crazy!  Roads covered already, pretty fast.  But it's supposed to be freezing rain and ice, which is worse.

Before I go to bed.  There is a thick coating of ice on my car and on my street.  PW schools are closed (as was 95 in one article I read). As of now Govt still Open as normal.

My street is the scariest looking road I've seen since the ice storms in what, 1993?

The main road I can see from my house, and it looks better, but how the hell would I get my car out there, and why would I when every one else is a horrible driver?

This ice is ugly in my development.  So I stayed home.  To get out you have to go up a slight hill.  No way would I get up there.

Agreed, this is one of the worst ice storms I can remember in quite a while.

When I returned home yesterday I came home to still having 12+ inches on the ground.  Last night we saw another four or so inches on top of that and now it just changed to a sleet/freezing rain combo which should put a nice, thick 1/2" coating of ice on top of all this snow.  :?

Get out there and shovel, you need to sweat out all that alcohol out of your system anyway.

I've lived with the cold (and done a fair amount of walking anyway) but ice and snow not cleared from public sidewalks is a drag. Sidewalks in front of businesses are clear. It's the ones that ought to be the City/County's responsibility that are covered. :(
