Pay attention - I said the crowd was quite diverse yesterday, something that was really great to see.  That Edwin Jackson made such an impression was a really good thing.  Read between the lines and you'll see what I'm saying.

i've seen tons of diverse crowds at nats park and i love it.

i'm sorry i just don't see what d-train had to do with bringing in crowds ... and no chief i'm not dense.  maybe i just never noticed it.  i just am not one to think dontrelle willis brought in a lot of fans

hammonds, d-train was one of the biggest draws in baseball during his run at the top.

I remember going to games he would pitch and I didn't notice some big change at rfk?

hey minty, don't you have a complete game to pitch?  and how can one, ruin a losing streak?

  I didn't drink enough coffee before I posted.

And you know I don't pitch.  8)

i still like the crowds in 128-130 the best, those are the most die-hard fans.  The nicer sections tend to draw yuppie-types who are there to be seen.  The Mezz. are the occasional fans and often a lot of people rooting for the opposition.  The 300's were pretty good.  So far I haven't sat in the 400's.

Frankly I prefer seats with a bit more of a bird's eye view for game-watching, but lower down is obviously nice for getting closer to the action, jawing at players, attempting to get autographs or fly balls, etc.

I've had three different WNFF posters allow me to use their tickets and all three were great in their own way however all are in the lower sections.  I sat in the 300's once just up the 3B line and those were cool for seeing the entire field of play unobstructed.

What XM station is the game on today?  I have to build the set for our show (opens Friday!) and I'm hoping to be able to bring the XM and listen to the game.

hammonds started the thread. I guess we're punting away the chance for the sweep.   :stir:

Quote from: ESPN Fantasy
Phillips (hamstring) is listed in Sunday's lineup against the Nationals, according to the Reds' official Twitter page.

I don't know why MLB preview/gameday even bothers having the "lineups" section, they're NEVER filled out.  Twitter always beats them to it by miles :smh:

Unfortunately no, real life circumstances have conspired to keep me out of the district this weekend.

"Where you stand depends on where you sit."    In my neighborhood, sections 128-130 are yuppies.    The nicer sections are Romneys and Rockefellers.    I like the 300's behind HP.

So, I turn on 50 and who's on ... Lavar "North Allegheny" Arrington dressed like he just got off the treadmill.    What a tacki-ass show and Lavar's full of crap.

Leake is not very good but he always goes at least 6 or so. I figure the Reds bats will wake up today but we'll see.
