Team made a big comeback tonight.

Can't fault the offense for Detwiler not living up to his end of the bargain tonight. Hope the team turns it around tomorrow to avoid the sweep.

Voice of reason.  Last night was a million times worse.

Sucks we lost this series, but we got tomorrow.

Davey lost this game, there was no reason to keep Detwiler out there, it was clear in the first two innings he was throwing BP out there.

Trying to remember last season: wasn't Stammen sent to AAA so Detwiler could start with the Nats? Sometime around mid-June?

Both of these games ended up being 1-run games that could just as easily have gone the other way.  I'm personally not a fan of complimenting other teams, but if you think the Orioles are good then you have to say the Nats are too.

Both teams look like 80-90 win teams in very tough divisions.

I was just sitting here thinking that baseball really is more random than I like to admit it is. Either of these games could have gone either way, and probably will next series... or the one after that.

When you have above average pitching and below average hitting, the games really do seem like a coin flip.

Lots of voices of reason tonight.

We will be okay.

If this was Strasburg pitching tonight...we would probably have won.

Stras and Gio would have won.

Detwiler....

When is CMW ready?

Detwiler didn't lose this game, the offense did. Leadoff double in 8th and leadoff single in the 7th with no runs. And neither Lombo nor Harper could get on before Zim homered.

They continue to blow chances to win games.

The key for this offense is Zim. If he gets going then everybody follows. And he showed some signs tonight..
