haha I actually like the Pedroia commercial, the director of accuracy is hysterical and it shows DP isn't a total douche that he allowed the commercial to knock him a bit.

Joe Morgan is terrible.  He and eagleskins wouldn't get along 8)

Myers and the Phillies are awful on Opening Days. We crushed him last year on Philly's Opening day.

the Pedroia commercial was okay the first 500 times I saw it but now it's just old and makes me want to chuck my plasma out the window.

he's good but he makes a lot of mistakes. he still never corrected himself after calling Jordan Schafer, Logan Schafer, twice.

joe angel, the O's radio announcer, sounds just like jon miller.

Miller never heard a silence he wouldn't fill with the sound of his own voice. Just let me enjoy the game without his constant drone.

His curve doesn't look like a slider at all.

the 84 mph pitch Lowe throws is a slider. definitely not a curve ball

Myers didn't have THAT bad of an outing. I'll accept that out of any of our starters.

Then that's his slider (I don't think he actually has one, though). I'm talking about his curve.

he has rarely thrown a curve tonight. almost exclusively 88-90 MPH sinkers and 83-84 MPH sliders.

he didn't give his team a chance to win. he put them in a huge hole from the start that made it impossible to come back.

So you blame him for the hitters not doing THEIR jobs? Yikes.

it's pretty hard to come back from a 4-0 deficit. that's usually lights out. i don't know about the Phillies but usually when a Nats pitcher gave up early runs the hitters were so demoralized that they usually just roll over and die like the Phillies hitters did tonight.

Lowe is going to go complete game easily. He is on his game tonight and these Phillies have given up.
