Steal Nook!  Don't force us to use an out to get you to second.

think about that he should have had a called strike 3 against utley - charge the run to the ump. probably is on Donaghy's payroll

Ok .. the radio guys are going nuts on these pitches - asking where are these pitches? How are they not strikes?

No I disagree. It's one thing to pull for the young pony but the reality is that he struggled to find the strike zone. He kept his composure though and got out of it with limited damage. Which is what some of our pitchers have struggled to do.

Everytime we bunt, it's like it's the first time we've ever tried it.

The replays show that Logan wasn't tagged; the dirt was.  He was safe.

Well ... the radio guys were the ones saying it - I'm not watching - and they also said that Pat Corrales was barking at the ump from the bench - so it sounded like he was getting squeezed ...

I understood what you were saying but everyone, even the guys in the dugout, are going to want the kid to do well and get a few calls so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

AHAHAHA quote from the Phils announcer just now:

"Griffey has 588 home runs, and Alex Rodriguez sitting on 599.  So three players will hit #600 this year [plus Sosa]."

But the ball beat him to the bag so they usually give the benefit of the doubt to the defense on that.

Nope.  He was safe.  The ump had a bad angle, so you really can't blame him.

What an idiot. You'd think that by saying 600 he would figure out his own mistake.

That's better. I would rather him get more grounders hit against him in this stadium.

I'm glad we got the two runs in support of Lannan, so he can breathe easier.

I never realized how solid Rollins was defensively.
