JimBo just said on MLB Network Radio that a number of deals are already in place and teams are holding out on announcements until the deadline approaches.   Lots of indications involving many Padres players.

The problem this year is they don't have someone like Nick Punto, who was the key to the Punto trade. That, and San Diego doesn't have :money:
