Technically we're still in this one though.

Do you honestly think we're still in this game?

At this point, it doesn't matter because everybody stinks.  Change purely for the sake of change.

The #3 spot is a place of privilege and Zimmerman has lost the privilege.
LaRussa did something one year when the Cards had hitting problems.  It goes speed/avg/power then repeats and would look like this(?) Morgan-Gonzo-Dunn-Guzy-Johnson-Hammer-Zim-Bard-pitcher.  He did it just to shake up the line-up.

That or just pick names out of a hat.   :|

I'm willing to try anything right about now.

Billy Martin did that in the 70s

Non-technically, we're out of every game before first pitch.

We're barely in this one, but we're on the ropes and we're just waiting for the right hook to finish us off.

3 for 3, first pitch strikes for Clippard.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter when the offense scores one run.

the order of a lineup has very little impact on a team's performance.  It would only cost you a coiuple of games a season to draw names out of a hat as opposed to optimizing a lineup (descending OBP, generally).

Then let's do it!  Somebody give Jim Riggleman a hat.

If you say he won't, I'll say he will. :D

Edit: I guess you thought he would. :?
