Martis is going to get smashed

yeah.  he looked good against the yankees and was terrible against the blue jays.

what's amazing about martis is his streakiness.  dating back to may, martis has had a period of three game stretches where he does very well followed by three games he does poorly.  hopefully he breaks that trend tonight.

how the freak is Dukes suppose to break out of his slump if he's being benched every other day! Austin Kearns should never see the field.

whatever.

if Shairon stinks it up, i say we call up Balester. Stammen is going down for Olsen, right?

Your loss Hammonds. Also, please note the progression of spelling errors and lack of proper use of grammar as the day progresses.

he's in Rizzo's doghouse.

Lastings Milledge (broken finger) has also started his rehab assignment, also with the GCL Nats. He was in Syracuse, obviously, before the injury, and does not figure to be back with the Nats any time soon.

just like clippard.  if milledge puts in some good weeks with AAA-Syracuse I'd like to see him get called up.  hopefully his attitude has adjusted, that's the important thing.

Fat Ronnie starting?  Wow, that's terrible.  Kearns should shore up our outfield woes in right field.

I think that shin contusion is still bothering him.  He didn't exactly sting the ball last night, probably needs a day off.
