Never seen this one before.

has to do with a MASN add that showed a clip of some light hitting career backup catcher hitting a home run to win a game.  I forget the guy's name though.

Jeff Mathis hit a game winning homer in the playoffs for Anaheim a few years ago. Was that it?

Lol... Are you still serious, or just joking now? I'm hoping it's the latter.

I couldn't locate video, apparently MLB has purged its gameday archives of 2008 games.

Nats ran a series of commercials on MASN in which fans enthusiastically talked up favorite moments.  Two of the most memorable pieces were "the Mets must HATE Willie Harris", and the "Who?" response to Wil Nieves' first career home run to walk-off vs the first place Cubs on 4/25/2008.

Dammit.  I have a great straight line out there and it's left dangling.

I hate Wil Nieves!

Marquis to the Twins.  Goessling must be the GM there now (Marquis, Hammer, Capps).  Can Pudge be far behind?

Marquis getting 3 million according to Bowden. Way too much for a mediocre pitcher.

He was worth about 6.2 million last year. Seems like a steal for Terry Ryan.

Langerhans to the Angels

Wow, if that's their big offseason move I don't know how they expect to compete.

:lmao:

Besides, it's not like we have much room to laugh at that move. Langerhans type players were usually our big off season acquisitions.
