Why don't they just replace Syracuse as our AAA affiliate?  :mg:

O's could be tied for first in an hour. Leading Toronto 7-0 right now, NYY down 5-2 in the 6th.

I'm thinking Charlotte for the O's.  After all, it is in MASN territory.

Orioles win 12-0 over Jays. Seems like their starters hardly give up runs any more.

And Yankees are about to lose to Rays. Will be a tie for first place. wow

britton has been good for them the past few weeks.  Really wanted to pick him up for fantasy baseball but he was not on the active roster at the transaction deadline Monday 7 PM.

This Gonzalez guy for them is pure smoke and mirrors.  Chen has been good all year, and Tillman has been effective since his last call up.

The O's and Braves will never lose another game the rest of the season.

The Rockies and their psychotic pitching system are shutting out Atlanta. Peter Moylan and Chad Durbin have helped.

Psychotic Pitching System would be a cool band name.

The Tigers just lost a really important series to the INDIANS.  Talk about folding under pressure - they're fighting for the playoffs here.

The White Sox just gave up 10 runs to the Twins in one inning. That should be an automatic elimination from playoff contention.

:lmao:

At this point I think it is safe to say that the Orioles are controlling their fate at will.

Shouldn't he be used to the indifference of Braves fans by now?

Funny, I ran into George Will there about 15 years ago during a rain delay.

I mentioned that Miguel Gonzalez is getting by on smoke and mirrors.  Comparing him to Jake Arrieta is almost like the old Stammen v. Lannan debates.

Arrieta - 3-9, 6.13 ERA, 101.1 IP, 58.2 LOB%, 42.9 GB%, 7.90 K/9, 2.75 BB/9, 4.06 FIP, 3.86 xFIP, 1.6 WAR
Gonzalez - 6-3, 3.31 ERA, 73.1 IP, 84.2 LOB%, 33.2 GB%, 7.12 K/9, 3.19 BB/9, 4.57 FIP, 4.74 xFIP, 0.6 WAR

...only 16,686 in the house (but then again we should talk - only 17,648 at Nats Park yesterday??).

Even so...most overrated fandom in MLB.

And seriously I'm going to predict right now that the Yankees miss the playoffs entirely.  21 of 27 remaining games in the AL East.

Same Gonzalez that was released by the Red Sox?
