I figured I would keep a listing of upcoming games scheduled for national broadcasts (ESPN, MLB Network, TBS, FOX), especially for our friends outside of the MASN coverage area.
Some notes:
-The ESPN Sunday Night games are the only games that are broadcast to everyone nationwide, both in-market and out-of-market. MASN does not broadcast these games. ESPN games on other days are blacked out in MASN territory, as MASN has the rights to those games.
-FOX Saturday games are regional coverage - there are usually four or five games shown at the same time. MASN does not broadcast these games. the506.com is a good place to find a coverage map to see what games are being shown across the country (usually updated on Thursday or Friday before the game).
-MLB Network games are available to those outside MASN territory. Some people make the argument that these don't really count as national games, but MLBN is more widely distributed than NFL Network and more people probably see these games than the FOX games due to FOX's regional coverage. Some MLBN games are regional coverage (* below means that they have 2 or more games showing concurrently, so different areas of the country will get different games). I think that MLBN uses their own announcers (headed by Bob Costas) for Friday games, and simulcasts the home feed on other days.
Here goes:
Thursday, June 7 vs. NYM, 1:05 (MLBN*)
Saturday, June 9 @ BOS, 4:05 (MLBN*)
Friday, June 15 vs. NYY, 7:05 (MLBN*)
Saturday, June 16 vs. NYY, 1:05 (MLBN*)
Sunday, June 17 vs. NYY, 1:35 (TBS)
Saturday, June 23 @BAL, 7:15 (FOX)
I'll update this as more games get announced.
