Well that sucks.

Were there any avatar bets outstanding on his upcoming season?

I said he was over with, I never specified that he'd start a game or not this season.  Do I win?

My first thought was that it sucks to be Burnett and it sucks to be a Pirates fan.

My second thought was about trading them Lannan.

Burnett won't be the last injured pitcher this spring so it probably makes sense to hold on to him until later this spring and closer to OD.

It's not like he'll be out the entire season with this. They'll just move Brad Lincoln in to Burnett's spot until he comes back.

Lazar Hayward (NBA) suffered the same injury and they expect him to miss less than 2 weeks.

I know who he is. He plays for my team. (Or rather, he sits on the bench and doesn't play for my team.)

What a pansy. I bet Ovie wouldn't miss more than a shift.

He (A. J.) obviously plays for the wimp team in town.    :)
