Lannan has only been considered more than a 4th starter by SF, hammonds and a few others around here.

get the freak outta here ... nobody has ever called him an ace you retard.  we all know he's 3-5 on a good team.

Lannan is damaged goods now. Trade him for something.

I hate being right. Olsen > Lannan.

It happens so seldom for you but I'm almost in agreement with you. I just want to see Olsen sustain his recent success.

Says the one who dubbed him "....a better man than I'll ever be" and even had sigs made of Lannan.

Lannan never had the talent. He's smart, but they've scouted him to the limit.

Option.

:bang: they say just that. He survived on smarts, old stats look good. Scouted to the limit, he sucks now.

again his stats this year are bad ... but in his career i look @ his ERA and say i'll take him as a back end of the rotation starter

I was hoping DT would get flustered by the wind and try to fix her hair with that magic-marker in her hand

we'll see how much more our attitude has improved this year ... we had a 2-run lead ... now down 2 ... against a talented pitcher ... let's not roll over like we have been in the past couple years.

Roster management. This is the last year he can be involuntarily sent down. Let him work it out, bring up SS, keep Olsen, keep Atilano until Marquis returns.

So you think he can work out of this? I'm not too worried about Strasburg. He's only a couple of weeks from being called up. I'm willing to be patient.

That's cool.  I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your assessment of his past numbers, I just think sending him down now would be the wrong move.
