Nice hustle, Zimnn!

It's fine.  He'll be well-rested by next inning by just standing around first base.

They had no problems cutting Lo Duca with his $5 mil contract last year. Let's give Rizzo the benefit of the doubt while we see his next moves.  ;)

Wait...  you're suggesting we DON'T panic and jump to conclusions????

I don't know what to do now :(

Will someone tell these guys the object of the game is not to get runners to 2nd and 3rd then leave them there.

i guess eckstein isn't as great as made out to be.  and manny acta doesn't help.  he should be in the faces of the likes of guzman, after swinging at the first pitch.  no but everyone knows your job is safe on this team with manny as the skipper as long as you are a good character guy and battle.

Why am I listening to this? Greenbelt Pontiac/GMC commercials are more entertaining than the game.

Sweet, the boss left for lunch for the next hour or so, I get a chance to watch some of this game.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but I really like the quote Willie Harris had the other day about leading off.  He said something to the effect of "I like leading off, because you have to create havoc."  Great attitude for that spot in the lineup.

We were all jumping for joy when Lenny Harris took over for Mitchel Page. Look what happened after a nice honeymoon.
When does it come time to admit that it isn't the hitting coach? I think Eckstein is really good, but he's dealing with trash.

The clubhouse toilet would do a better job.

He at least looks at tapes. I can't believe they kept Harris knowing he wasn't reviewing tapes and other information.
Bowden should have been fired just for that.

Nice battling by Zimmermann here.  Getting through this inning after letting up a leadoff double would be very nice.

hahahaha yeah.  nyjer is sitting next to olsen for his wired up wednesday segment.  they said burnett may come out and pitch today.

what a damn shame we're losing this game.  JZ pitched so much better than Johnson, but our offense was attrocious.  absolutely terrible.

Thanks h-nats. I'd like to see Nyjer pinch hit and Burnett out to pitch.
