. . . POD GUZMAN smoking his old team . . .

You mean the "new Guzzie"? This is the guy Guz said we were supposed to meet last season, before his shoulder injury. I like him!

I've always wondered about those ads. I have *never* seen a Valero station... so many ads. Maybe they are in Northern Virginia?
Why is he always talking about Valero?

I had never heard of Valero before these commercials. Where is it?

Several people will have to tell you for you to believe it... The Nats are up 7-0 in the 4th.
The satellite has been out now due to severe t-storm for around 15 minutes...I'm dying here. What have I missed?

It blew through here (Gaithersburg) a half hour ago.

Dammit. That would have been a nice ending to this inning!

AK and Langerhans are the only two w/o hit

AK has a walk, and Langerhans has at least been hitting the ball pretty hard.  WTF happened to him anyway?  How could he have fallen off a cliff like he has this year?

Baseball is a game meant to be play outdoors. Indoor stadiums are ridiculous. I don't understand it, especially in Tampa Bay.

Two words: TROPICANA. FIELD.

To be fair, it's a terrible idea to have an outdoor stadium for baseball in the Tampa/St. Pete area...the humidity is insane during the summer, and it constantly rains during the day.  (Florida is the king of the mid-afternoon squall.)

lol, no one comes anyways. A team in Tampa is retarded, it's all old retired geezers.

I'm in Northern Va. (part of the time). Never seen one. It makes me want to sing, though: "Va-ler-o, ah, ohhhh . . ." Oh, wait . . . that's Volare.

Ha, you beat me to it.  I suspect Air Zimmerman has never spent any time in Tampa/St. Petersburg...he would understand why it's insanity to have an outdoor stadium there.

I'll have to tell Andrew.  He's big into moonbounces right now.  Almost wouldn't get out of it at his party last Sat.

How much different can the weather be in Tampa as oppose to Miami?

It's astounding that they chose to make a WHITE roof, with BASEBALL-LIKE cutouts that can look white, too. The outfielders must hate that place.
