Nah, it's going to be Chico.  Chico pitched on Saturday and Simontacchi pitched on Sunday.
Great...I'll be at that game and I haven't got to see Chico up close yet.

"Vintage Tim Hudson".. LMAO, look who he is pitching against.  These guys are just not hitting (Lopez, Zimmerman, Church, Langerhans (Expected)).  27 pitches through 3 innings.  If that's not inexcusable I don't know what it is.  At the very least they could take some pitches and work the count.

We look horrible at the plate. Almost like they're demoralized and have thrown in the towel for this game. I predicted the Nats would win 7 of their 10 games in this homestand so they're still on pace for it.

Has the entire team been poisoned/drugged or something?

I blame the man whose name should not be spoken anymore.  When your starting pitcher goes out in the first inning and gives up a lame 2-run HR, that just kills all momentum or anything positive the team had going.

This much is very true...

You can blame the new hitting coach, Lenny Harris.  He told them that a lot of times, your first pitch is your best.  But he was a career pinch hitter.  It was his job to get a hit.  This involves managing a team, not a single at-bat.  It's giving your fielders a rest, and wearing down their pitcher, as a team, by making him throw.  In this respect, I don't see Manny Acta actually managing the team.  It's been going on a LOT this season, and our W-L record reflects it.

On a night like this, minimally, you have to make the opposing pitcher throw pitches.  Do they have "gameplans" in major league baseball?  You  have to be able to adjust to what's happening and this is a pitcher who wants you to hit early in the count.  You're fighting on his terms when you swing so early in counts.  I can't believe that they can't adjust for this?

Assuming we could only win 3 of the remaining games this week, which games would you choose?
