Akra seems no smarter than Debbi.

At least her sideline reports have been mostly substantive and not about inane bullcrap like "Here's some NY pork bbq"

My neighbor and I went to the game last night.   Couple of young folks we know told us to meet them.   They were under the scoreboard at the Miller thing.   Jesus  ..  Yuppieville.

Compare Bonifacio's arm to Ankiel

That throw needed a parachute. Good to see the Marlins still can't field

Is it me? or could it be that they are, in a sense, managing Stras' innings one at a time?  I think he could have easily went back out for the 7th but they pulled him.  Maybe that can help give him a couple extra starts in September if the Nats are in the playoff hunt.

"Davey, how good was it to see Ian Desmond get the winning hit, but also shut up his critics?"

O Welch, I had such high hopes for you.

Of course, I'll take a quote from Bob Friend any time over a question like, "Was this important for you?"

Get out, did he ask that for real?  With the "shut up" part?

Pretty much word for word. Ladson has no professionalism I expect him to ask players for their autographs

It was a smart decision to pull him. Relievers are better than pitchers who pitch late in the game. plus the team needed a hitter to help the decrepit offense.

No. Davey actually said, "Shoot. I'm sorry that Desmond hit that drive. I means I'll have to apologize to Ozzie for winning again. It's just plain inhospitable to invite the Marlins for a visit and beat them".

I hear about this Ladson character but have never seen him, heard him or read any of his stuff.   Does he exist?

Kristina could tell Katherine:

"We can dress the same way and I'll let you do this post game interview.
Everyone will think you are me!
But stand REALLY close to the player!"

This sounds exactly like what Manny Acta would say.

Can you tell us when they marked their 4th loss in previous seasons?   Or, when was the last time they had a winning percentage of .750 with a minimum of 15 games (or ever LOL)?    Just curious?

Can you tell us when they marked their 4th loss in previous seasons?[...]

Quite easily obtained from the ESPN.com schedules (same source I use for the when-the-Nth-win-was-notched posts, thanks to their cumulative win-loss numbers by each result).

Cumulative dates on which the Nationals registered their 4th loss, each season:

2007 - 6th April (5th match of season)
2011 - 6th April (5th match)
2008 - 6th April (7th match)
2006 - 9th April (6th match)
2009 - 10th April (4th match)
2005 - 11th April (7th match)
2010 - 12th April (7th match)
2012 - 19th April (14th match)

Was following this game on my phone and almost threw it at someone in the 9th inning!  Glad they won though!  Another series win and a possible sweep again!
