tha worst defensive game i've seen all year

Terrible. No defensive or offensive support at all. Combine that with walks from the starting pitcher and you have a breakdown in all aspects of the game.

That's like watching a softball game when no one holds onto the ball.

Oh come on Bob + Don.. They played like this all home stand as well but were lucky to win the games because they were going up against atrocious competition.

How stupid is it that Don and Bob don't want to say no-hitter when Smoltz has one but they will say it when one of ours is flirting with one.

John does have a way of doing that, though. It's hard not to like the guy.

Smoltz is at 70 pitches through 5. Just get two 20+ pitch innings and Mr. Cox will be forced to remove him, I'd think....especially w/ the lead that big and the fact that they're in a race.

D'Angelo Jimenez now 2/33 (.060) as a pinch hitter yet Manny keeps sending him out there game after game.

Why aren't more lefties in the lineup tonight?  The lefties seem to have had the best at-bats tonight against Smoltz.

Lopez stays chasing that slider in the dirt and when he makes contact he rolls it over the left side.. He really needs to abandon switch hitting like Nook did.  Felipe is hitting .235 LH this year and .272 RH this year.
