I go back and forth on Laroche.
On the one hand, he has shown that when he's productive when healthy. His offense is good and defensively he improves the entire infield.
On the other hand, I'm warry of giving a 32 year old coming off a career year a contract extension. Especially when we have an option year for next year. How much longer can he maintain this productivity?
I think LaRoche can copy this past year but I hope I'm not just saying that because I want it to happen. The only positive I can see from an injury to LaRoche is that Moore is his backup.
