Is there a story on glasses versus contacts? You don't see many ball players wearing glasses, and they are almost always pitchers...
McCann is wearing them now. For the longest time they tried to get him contacts that fit. He finally gave up and went with glasses

I really hate the negativity that Bob and Rob are spewing. It's like they were told by the front office to soften the fans for the possibility that we will not sign him.

Think positive, guys! We are going to sign SS! :whip:

A blind pitcher isnt much worst than Kensing :?

It's a bummer we gave up Kyle Gunderson for this bum.

Sounds like Duren to me (LOL).   He had very thick glasses and would throw a ball behind a batter into the screen just for effect .....

I missed the first four, but looks like a nice outing for JD.  Any negatives?

That's right he is, isn't he... I thought that started with a scratched cornea or something, last year... maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

comparing SS to Igawa and Contreras is laughable.

why the freak are they so damn negative?! SS is a good pitcher. No, he's not a hall of famer yet but he is a special talent that is a potential building block for this organization that is so desperate for talent.

Let's not bail out yet ....     We have a 5 run lead with 2 innings left.   It's alright.

comparing SS to Igawa and Contreras is laughable.

why the freak are they so damn negative?!

because Stan told them to do so. that's why.

either Stan is trying to soften the backlash when Strasburg walks, or he is setting very low expectations so that he can bask in media worship after he signs.
