I like watching pro basketball a lot. Almost every team has a different offensive and defensive style. The Bulls are young and have a new coach, while the Cavs built their offense around one player. I can definitely see why that would be boring to some. It's not to me, though.

LeBron was awesome in that first half. That was the best individual half I've seen so far this season.

There's just no excitement. At least with college the players give their all every night (generally) and the fans are actually involved in the game. I just don't see any sort of home court advantage or anything. the fans are just sitting on their hands, it just the announcers talking and the players doing the same stuff over and over and over again

The NBA sucks but the ending to the Houston-Portland game was one of the most insane things I've ever seen.

Three buzzer beaters in the last 2 seconds of the game. sick

Dwight Howard is averaging 5.8 OFFENSIVE rebounds and 4.4 blocks per game.

I'd probably take him over anyone else in the league if I was starting a new team from scratch.

I can't watch the NFL game on TV. :?  Plus, these are two of the best basketball teams in the world.

The Knicks traded Jamal Crawford to the Warriors for Al Harrington, and then traded Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins to the Clippers for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley ().

They really think they're going to get LeBron. I don't think they will. He'll either stay in Cleveland or go to New Jersey.

I think he'll end up in NY. Cleveland blows. He wants the real spotlight.

Damn, the Oklahoma City Thunder are nearly as bad as us. They have 24 points right now with 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. They will have a 1-13 record after they finish off this two game back-to-back with the Hornets.

We will have a 1-10 record after tomorrow's game against NY. But they (Thunder) have no players to speak of and we have a bunch of all stars and vets. Embarrassing.

Rudy Fernandez is going to be a superstar. Portland knows how to pick 'em.

Did you see Roger Mason's game winning 3-pointer earlier against Phoenix? We freaked up signing DS to an extension a few years ago and then letting Ma$on go after last season.

I saw the first three quarters, but I missed the end. I still haven't seen a replay of it. Shaq was dominating early in that game. It was a fun one to watch.

Jose Calderon has made his first 66 free throws this season. That's just insane. I'm pretty sure that's a record to start a season, but the overall record is 97 by Micheal Williams back in '93.

Boston is making Phoenix look BAD right now. Allen is absolutely the best outside shooter in the league.

Watching the Lakers vs Cavs game, I favor Kobe over Lebron, sucks to see him injure his finger and now they look really sloppy in the first minutes lol.

I need the Celtics to win to extend my streak to 6 for ESPN's "streak for the cash".

Great D by Kobe. That's why he's still the best in the NBA. LeBron's getting better on that end, though.

What an awesome game. I kind of hope these two teams meet in the championship again. Sucks Bynum's out again, though.

Looks like the Nets might get Amare for basically nothing. I think the most that they'd have to give up is a package of Bobby Simmons and Yi Jianlian. The Nets would instantly become a scary team to face. Harris, Carter, Lopez and Stoudemire in the same lineup would be nice.
