I was thinking the exact same thing last night while watching the game. To me, it's not a matter of if, but when.

I'm sure every starting pitcher we face comes into the game thinking he's going to be the lucky SOB who gets our really bad offense on a REALLY BAD day/night and he's going to be the one who gets the no-no.

Bergmann is at 68 pitches, he is averaging a few more pitches per an inning (17.00) compared to his average (15.64).  Overall, though, he has some nice movement on his pitches, but he is looking hittable as usual.

Great leadoff bunt single by Milledge, some other Nationals will have to take note.

and that boneheaded play cancels it out. Embarrassing. This team is freaking trash.

Nice bunt LM but your base runnning naivate makes it count for nothing.

You don't get your self thrown out of scoring position considering how few baserunners we have had at 2nd all game.

Damnit, Milledge would have walked home on that hit by Nieves!

Figures. Milledge's stupid mistake costs us a run. Baserunning mistakes have cost us at least 3-4 runs this week. Bullcrap. freak Acta and the rest of the coaches. They are pitiful.

Does Bergmann ever take BP? I mean, if he's gonna get 2 or 3 ABs each time he plays, it makes sense to have him practice swinging the bat every day right?

Acta needs to fine guys, not pat them on the back. They don't need a mommy, they need their butts kicked. Or Bustesed

Baserunning mistakes have cost us all year long, as well as last year. This is the biggest problem that I have with Manny and the rest of the staff. This crap should have been corrected a long time ago.

This team is so effed up. Kershaw who had walked 27 batters in 41.2 IP prior to this game has walked none so far today. Instead of being patient, our hitters are swinging early in the count and chasing bad pitches.

this is bullcrap. Manny's lackadaisical attitude rubs off on the team. I don't care if anyone says otherwise, because that is the cold, hard truth.

awful awful awful. freak Bergmann. Another awful pitch in a PITCHER'S COUNT. Bergmann is AAAA trash, nothing more. Our rotation except for Lannan is full of fools. St. Claire is so overrated.

You just know we're going to hold them to no more runs and score three ourselves win this game, don't you.

It can't get any worse, guys. It really does not matter who we face. The results are the same.

Whether it's a stud like Brandon Webb, a young stud like Cain, a young struggling guy like Kershaw, or a vet bum like Zito. This is bullcrap and Acta/Bowden act like nothing is going on.

Kershaw has been awful prior to this start. In 9 starts on the season he had only gone at least 6 innings once. In those 9 starts he's won ZER0 GAMES.

Nice job by Bergmann that inning, striking out the side.
